Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going. Hindi makes up a large part of Indian culture. So, it is pertinent that the next generation of this country learns and knows the importance of this language.
The students of Gitanjali Vedika celebrated Hindi Divas with pomp and reverence through a special assembly. The students learnt the history of Hindi Divas. The best way to learn and honour a language is through art and literature. Our students showed graceful dance performances on songs that made everyone nostalgic. Dohe, for centuries, have provided us with sage advice to life problems that are relevant even today. By reciting Kabir and Raskhaan’s dohe, the students not only learnt important life lessons but also cultivated their knowledge of the Hindi language.
