Welcome To Gitanjali Primary School

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I’d like to welcome you to ‘Gitanjali Junior School’, Begumpet. I am more than happy to take you through our website to have a clear picture of our activities.
We start our day with meditation followed by prayer and sharing of ideas on the topic of the weak. General assemblies are informative and fun, usually presented in the form of a skit.
Our students consistently strive to enhance their performance through three Terminal Assessments and Internal Assessments.
We have Newspaper in Education programme where ‘Star Correspondents’ write about our school activities in ‘School Edition’ of the ‘Times of India’. We do not leave behind our students who need extra help by having ‘Remedial Classes’ for them.
We get involved in the affairs of the society by creating awareness on different social issues and extending a helping hand in the rehabilitation of the victims of calamities.
Our students are sent on day excursions and out of the city excursions to enhance their knowledge about the world around them.Dental checkups, Author’s visit, ‘Readers Theatre’ and discourses by spiritual leaders are part of our activities. We show our gratitude to our elders by celebrating ‘Father’s Day’, and ‘Parent’s Day’ etc.
To facilitate all this we have a highly qualified, trained and competent Staff who are periodically trained ‘In House’ to keep abreast with the changing scenario of education.
Parents are encouraged to stay involved in their child’s school life by volunteering for different activities.
I am glad I had a chance to tell you about our school.

it's a wonderful world" -

And indeed it is and that’s the rainbow a rarity of nature that our lives can and should replicate. Born of human smiles and tears, our passions, our skills, our concerns, our cares and our successes lend myriad hues to this rainbow of life. Each one has the potential to transcend beyond the inherited world and paint our own rainbows of joy, love, progress and success. This is where education today plays a gigantic role – it creates multi dimensional figures. We, at Gitanjali  wish to bring about a kind of Renaissance which allows students to go and grow in various directions. For us, Gen Next should be what Michael Angelo was  painter, sculptor, architect and scientist or what in the Indian Scenario Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam was, scientist, academician, writer and administrator Now students should be able to design buildings, solve problems, write sonnets, paint a picture, innovate methods and even cook meals. All this and much more is what we envision for our students in a world where there is an environmental demise and social degeneration. Yet, our students will rise above the mundane and paint the Indian as also the Global firmament with rainbows of joy, love, creativity, progress and succor.
