Jump towards Fitness Research has shown physical education plays a colossal role in the development of our youth and only a healthyphysically and emotionally fit child can learn effectively, In Line with this, Gitanjali has partnered with JumpFit, a structured Sports and Physical Education program, With the aim to find, develop and introduce essential sporting activities needed for the holistic development of a child. This program is simultaneously run along with regular Physical Education classes at school taught by our school physical education teachers to boost the active time spent on overall physical fitness for our children. At JumpFit, we believe physical education needs to be age-appropriate, dedicated to enhance motor and cognitive skills with creative movement, Nutritional Intelligence, mental well- being and instil a love in children to be active.
Brain research suggests that motor and cognitive development are interrelated and is typically developing between children aged four to 16 years. During this period, the foundation for advanced motor behaviour is laid by the development of reflexes and reactions, rudimentary motor skills and finally, gross motor skills, which are the building blocks of movement and consist of locomotor, object manipulation and stability skills.These skills include jumping, running and kicking etc and are critical in the promotion and maintenance of healthy developmental trajectories. The importance of both grossmotor skill development as well as cognitive development is for school readiness and long-term success in life. children Just as there are physical milestones, there are also cognitive milestones. It is very helpful as gain new abilities to think, problem solve, communicate effectively aiding insocial and emotional development. Hence, the curriculum has been carefully designed to meet these expectations, which is executed by our certified physical educators from Pre-Primary to Grade 6. JumpFit Program Uses Teaching tools and aims to:

3. Physically active kids are more likely to be motivated, focused, and successful in school and in life.
4. Focus on Motor Skills (Fundamental skills) - Locomotor and Non- Locomotor Skills, Object control skills, and Stability Skills.
5. Gross motor skills focus on large muscle groups that control our arms and legs and involve larger movements (e.g., balancing, running, and jumping).
6. Fun Equipment for each child.
