On 13th November 2024, PAGE, organized an insightful and engaging career counselling workshop for students of Grade 9 and 10. The session was led by expert career counsellor, Mr. K. Siva Kaladhar, and aimed at helping students explore potential career pathways and make informed decisions about their future academic and professional lives.

The workshop provided students with a deep understanding of the various career options available to them, emphasizing the importance of early planning, skill development, and aligning personal interests with career choices. Mr. Kaladhar introduced tools to assess individual strengths and aptitudes, offering students the knowledge and resources to make well-informed decisions about their subjects and future academic streams.

The session covered a broad range of topics, including:

• Difference between Hobby and Profession
• Difference between Job and Career
• The mistakes students make in choosing the core subjects after class 10^th.
• How to select a career?
• How to strike a balance between an education based career and Talent based career?
• Courses and career options available based on the core subjects students take after Class 10.

Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, students were encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in the workshop. The session concluded with a psycho-metric test, where Mr. Kaladhar addressed individual concerns and provided tailored advice to students based on their interests and aspirations.

Overall, the workshop served as an invaluable opportunity for students to gain clarity about their future careers and gain direction on how to approach their academic journey with confidence.
