The architectural building which has inspired me the most is Ayodhya Ram Lalla Temple. Its construction started on August 5th 2020 and our honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modiji inaugurated it on January 22nd 2024. The temple is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh near the banks of Sarayu river and we can reach it by train, bus or through the recently opened Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. The temple was constructed in 4th Century by King Vikramaditya. It is built over a vast area of 70 acres and the temple stands tall with height of 161 feet! Another astonishing fact is that not even a piece of iron is used in the construction of this devine temple. The temple is expected to contribute to the development of Ayodhya as a major religious and cultural centre in our country and boost its economy. It has brought together all the Hindus across the world belonging to different diversities into a sacred bonding of oneness.
Lord Rama’s idol has been constructed with a stone that can sustain at the least a thousand years! The sacred Ayodhya Ram Mandir is not just a temple, but a gesture of faith, unity and cultural heritage. The temple is a symbol of hope and inspiration, reminding us of the power of faith, the strength of the human spirit. It is a monument to India’s rich cultural and religious heritage and a testament to the enduring legacy of Lord Shri Ram and Goddess Sita. Those who understand the eternal blessings which come from the temple know that no sacrifice is too great, no price too heavy, no struggle too difficult in order to receive those blessings.
The beautiful architecture of the temple and the mesmerising idol of Lord Ram Lalla motivates me to visit it one day. Since I was small I had been listening to stories about Ram Lalla and there is finally a temple which marks his birthplace. What this temple has inspired me is that to never give up during a struggle.
