An amalgamation of artistic expression and philanthropy defines V.I.B.G.Y.O.R, Gitanjali Vedika's first Art Exhibition Fundraiser. The event spanned three days- March 10, 11 and 14. The concept revolved around the United Nations' declaration of 2022 as the International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IYAFA 2022). This event was organised in tandem with the Parent Teacher Meetings which gave the parents a chance to appreciate and encourage the students' creations. The students worked tirelessly to create digital art, paintings, mandala drawings, sketches, jewellery, showpieces, and many more, to be sold to the parents and teachers to collect funds for donations. The students wished to give back to the community and thus brought in the idea of a fundraiser. Along with our art instructor, our talented students spent weeks making preparations to conduct a flawless exhibition. The students built their public speaking and marketing skills, and also felt the fulfillment of selling their own goods for a noble cause. The parents were generous partners in encouraging students' artistic endeavours as well as contributing towards the social cause of enriching the lives of children in need. A good amount of funds were collected which were donated to The Hyderabad Children's Aid Society, Nanal Nagar.
