Bathukamma is the state festival and is celebrated by one and all with fervor. The staff and students of Gitanjali Vedika came together to spread the significance of this festival. A special assembly was held where the students spoke about how and why this day was celebrated. A primary student led everyone through a prayer song. Few girls from grades 5 to 8 displayed a performance on a medley of songs dedicated to the festival of Bathukamma. The festivities ended with teachers, students and support staff joining in on the fun and dancing to their hearts' content.
