“Only where children gather is there any real chance of fun.”
Today’s children are tomorrow’s generation. Although we show love and affection towards
our students everyday, there is another special day to celebrate. This Children’s Day, the teachers of Gitanjali Vedika entertained the students through role reversal and organized the assembly for the day.
The fun filled assembly began with the school prayer by a teacher. Later, a choir of teachers sang the school song wishing the students to have a bright day. Moving onto the next programme, we had a group of teachers who performed a song wishing the children happiness. We continued another energetic performance by another group of teachers who
Performed a qawwali poking fun at the mischief done by students. Last but not least, a group of teachers had everyone grooving to a foot-tapping medley of songs. Every child is special in their own way. The students who were a part of the Glendale Academy sports events, were rewarded with certificates for their efforts during the Children’s Day assembly.
The day also experienced the final round of the Inter House Cricket tournament which was the right mix of fun and competition. On the whole, it was an exciting day for the kids.
