On August 8, as part of the initiative taken by the Government of Telangana to educate school going children about the history of India and its struggle for independence, the students of Gitanjali Vedika attended a screening for the movie, ‘Gandhi’ at Cinepolis, Rajendra Nagar. This was undertaken as part of the government program, ‘Swathantra Bharat Vajrotsava Dvisaptahamu’. The students felt pride and learnt about the glorious past of our nation ahead of the 75th Independence Day celebrations.
