22nd December, the birthday of the famous Mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan was declared as the NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY in 2012 by the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. This day was celebrated at Gitanjali Vedika to illuminate the students towards the importance of Mathematics and the role of zero in every figure. Mathematically designed innovative activities like measuring the diameter of vehicles, door handles were planned and implemented. To celebrate the day our students played the roles of famous Mathematicians like Aryabhata and Srinivasa Ramanujan and discussed the vital contributions made by them respectively in the field of NUMBERS.
