“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents”- Jane D. Hull
Being a parent is one of the most challenging roles one can take on in their lifetime. Each child is different and it is important to remember that they are individuals who have their own thoughts, feelings and struggles that come with navigating different situations. We organized a session with an expert in the field of child psychology, Ms. Kirti Singh so that she could help alleviate some of the anxious thoughts parents may have. The session focused on some common parenting concerns like shyness in a child, dishonesty, disobedience, anger and aggression, digital device addiction, and sibling rivalry. The floor was then left open for parents to pose questions and learn how to handle children in this different age of parenting. The takeaway message was that setting an example is more important than setting rules for the children.
