As Albert Einstein rightly said, one must never stop questioning. With their curiosity and drive for learning, we wish to lead our students to being future change-makers. Vedika Vertex, Gitanjali Vedika's first science exhibition was the first step in bringing together the love for science, and teaching our students the value of natural resources. Following protocols to keep the students and staff safe, the students of grades 5,6 and 7 showcased their work offline in school. Grades 1 to 4 students participated in the science fair virtually. The Sustainability Development Goals detailed by the United Nations were the focus of this event. Students of all grades participated enthusiastically. They put all their creativity and efforts into creating wonderful and informative models on topics such as the dwindling terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, global warming, and the need for more sustainable cities. Their research sensitised them to the current plight of our planet and helped them build solutions to overcome these obstacles and make our planet green and beautiful again. They also portrayed their findings through music, poetry and skits to make the day more entertaining for the viewers. Although the parents could only attend the event online, their pride was clearly visible.
