A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart. To strengthen the bond between parents and teachers, the 'Parent Volunteer Committee' of Gitanjali Vedika organised a special event for the teachers to express their gratitude and to provide a break from monotony. Celebrations for Teachers' Day began early with games like passing the ball, musical chairs, tug of war and Pictionary sprinkling in a healthy dose of competition and providing the teachers with a chance to showcase their inner child. The teachers deepened the bond with their colleagues by sharing compliments and appreciating the presence of one another.
On the day of Teachers Day, the students of all classes put up a spectacular show of dance, music and poetry to thank their teachers for all the support and hard work they put in and also to celebrate the birthday and achievements of our Founder Principal and Director, Dr. Gita Karan. The program ended with the teachers receiving heartfelt greeting cards made by the students. The role of teachers and the importance of their guiding hands was remembered once again through the festivities.
