Harmony on the planet exists through cooperation of all species. With the declining population of tigers over the last few decades, it is vital to learn about and protect these magnificent creatures. As part of International Tiger Day celebrations, students of Gitanjali Vedika went on a field trip to KBR National Park, Hyderabad to learn about different wild animals and birds, how climate change has affected ecosystems, and which species are currently endangered and how the students could contribute to protecting them. The program was conducted by the Hyderabad Tiger Conservation Society. Our students also presented posters and gave speeches on the importance of tiger population, and created awareness on protecting wildlife. A bingo game and a tiger race added some fun and frolic to the day's events.
