The healthy habit of practicing Yoga, the ancient art of connecting body and mind, is developed from a young age in the students of Gitanjali Vedika. To commemorate the International Yoga Day, 2023, all the students came together to test their flexibility and strength on the mat. Selected students along with the sports faculty, guided the student body in a yoga flow. The asanas performed ranged from simple ones like Tadasana, Padasana and Gomukhasana, twists like Ardha Matsyendransana, and back bends like Ustrasana and Chakrasana. The session ended with all the students meditating in Padmasana. They all experienced the peace and lightness of practicing yoga and meditation. With the promise to be fitter and calmer in the coming year, everyone moved back to their classrooms.
