Gitanjali Vedika School takes great pride in its outstanding achievements in Handball this year, marked by exceptional performances and the successful hosting of major tournaments at both regional and national levels.

The school had the privilege of organizing the Zonal and Regional Handball Tournaments, where our teams delivered remarkable performances, securing second place in both the boys’ and girls’ Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories. These results are a reflection of our students’ dedication, discipline, and team spirit.

In a milestone event, Gitanjali Vedika School was honoured to host the CISCE National Girls’ Handball Championship 2025, held from 23rd to 25th September 2025. The prestigious three-day championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from across India, with over 550 student-athletes and 100 coaches accommodated on our campus for five days. The event stood out for its impeccable organization, warm hospitality, and exemplary display of sportsmanship, underscoring the school’s commitment to excellence in all spheres.

Representing Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, our students showcased exceptional prowess, securing 1st place in the Under-14 Girls category, 2nd place in the Under-17 Girls category, and 4th place in the Under-19 Girls category. A special commendation went to Ms. Saanvi Vasa, who was honoured with the “Best Defender – Under 14” award for her exemplary defensive skills, unwavering focus, and commitment to the sport.
