At Gitanjali Devashray students  celebrated Basant Panchami with great pomp and show during their morning assembly. As per Hindu belief Maa Saraswati the deity of learning, music and art was born on this day and people celebrate Basant Panchami and offer prayers to Maa Saraswati.

The assembly started with  a short prayer and the spring of joy took over when Sahasra and Keerthana of grade 6 B  displayed their talent through a beautiful dance performance invoking the blessings of the Goddess. The assembly ended when  both the teachers and students offered their prayers to the Goddess of knowledge
