On 19th July 2025, Gitanjali Vedika School celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Telangana with a special assembly on Bonalu, thoughtfully presented by the students of Grade 8. The festival of Bonalu, dedicated to Goddess Mahankali, is a vibrant expression of gratitude, devotion, and community spirit, and the students showcased its significance and traditions through a variety of art forms. The assembly featured soulful devotional songs, energetic and graceful dance performances, and engaging narrations that beautifully conveyed the history, rituals, and importance of Bonalu. The young performers demonstrated not only their creativity and talent but also a deep respect for the cultural roots of the festival, making the occasion both educational and celebratory. Principal Mrs. Sonia Nagpal commended the students for their exceptional efforts in bringing alive the spirit of Bonalu and appreciated the way they combined art and knowledge to communicate the message of devotion, unity, and cultural pride.
