The children had a bonanza of celebrations in the month of November with Diwali, Children’s Day and the Mini Sports day all being celebrated. The classrooms were all decorated with vibrant lamps and lanterns made by the children. They came dressed in their traditional best, painted earthen diyas, made creative craft takeaways, listened to Diwali stories and shared sweets with their friends.
Inflatable games, drawing and colouring competitions, movie watching and gifts for all the children made it a memorable Children’s Day. They had a fun filled day enjoying every moment of it.
The Mini Sports Day was a well organised event with an energetic fervour in the air. Children in colour coordinated clothes took part in running races, drill and group games. They exhibited excellent teamwork in the relay races. The March past and tug of war by the tiny tots of Nursery, were the show stoppers. The parents participated with enthusiasm in the games organised for them. All the children got prizes which were given away by the grandparents. The budding champions enjoyed their day on the ground as the entire place reverberated with loud cheers and claps throughout the program.
