Childrens Day 2021

Gitanjali Vedika’s first ever offline celebration for students of grades 1 to 7 was conducted to mark Children’s Day 2021. This day, celebrated in honour of our first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, is dedicated to raising awareness for the rights, care and education of children across India. The event began with a dance for which the teachers of Pre-Primary put their hearts and souls into. To continue the festivities, the male staff members of Vedika showed their hidden swag with an original rap performance. Then was an entertaining song to get the children grooving. The teachers then brought some foot-tapping moves with a zumba dance performance that left everyone applauding. To bring some humour to the day, the teachers showcased their acting skills and impeccable dialogue delivery through a skit on offline schooling. The event ended with a ‘lazy dance’ where the teachers showed how to get some exercise and fun, while being lazy!
