Gitanjali Vedika had the distinct honor of hosting the CISCE Regional Painting Competition, on 29th July 2025 an inspiring confluence of artistic brilliance that brought together exceptionally talented students from various ICSE schools. The competition, thoughtfully divided into the Junior, Sub-Junior, and Senior categories, provided a vibrant platform for young minds to unleash their creativity and showcase their imaginative prowess. The day began on an auspicious note with a warm and eloquent address by our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Sonia Nagpal, who announced the painting themes with grace and passion, instantly igniting a sense of enthusiasm and determination among the participants. The event was further elevated by the presence of two eminent judges Mr. Sesha Brahmam Yeluri, a distinguished hyperrealist painter acclaimed for his extraordinary ability to capture the beauty of everyday life with astonishing precision and depth, and Dr. Priti Samyukta, a celebrated contemporary artist, Fulbright-Nehru Post-Doctoral fellow, and Head of the Painting Department at JNAFAU, whose internationally recognized works embody profound emotion and artistic finesse. As the students immersed themselves in their creative endeavors, the atmosphere was infused with color, imagination, and quiet concentration, culminating in a stunning display of artistry. The ceremonial lamp-lighting, symbolizing wisdom and inspiration, added a solemn touch, followed by a dynamic and mesmerizing dance performance by the talented students of Gitanjali Vedika, which enthralled the audience and beautifully complemented the spirit of the occasion. The judges, with great sincerity and keen insight, interacted with the participants, offering thoughtful critiques, uplifting words, and invaluable guidance that both acknowledged their current efforts and encouraged their future growth. The much-awaited announcement of winners across all three categories was received with thunderous applause, celebrating not just the victors but every participant who dared to dream and create. In her concluding remarks, Mrs. Sonia Nagpal lauded the students for their dedication, perseverance, and originality, underscoring that every stroke of their brush was a testament to their passion and potential. The competition, in its entirety, was a resplendent celebration of youthful imagination and artistic excellence.
