Educational Visit to Telangana Pollution Control Board

Students of Grade 9 from Gitanjali Vedika had the enriching opportunity to visit the Telangana Pollution Control Board on 8th March 2026 as part of an educational study tour aimed at fostering environmental awareness and responsibility.

The visit was thoughtfully designed to provide students with first-hand exposure to real-world environmental challenges, particularly focusing on air and vehicular pollution. Experts at the Pollution Control Board offered valuable insights into the major causes of pollution, including harmful emissions such as nitrogen oxides, carbon compounds, benzene, and ground-level ozone, which significantly impact both environmental and human health.

The session also emphasized the consequences of irresponsible practices such as littering and improper waste disposal, encouraging students to adopt mindful and sustainable habits in their daily lives. Adding further depth to the learning experience, discussions on modern and eco-friendly mobility solutions highlighted the importance of transitioning to cleaner alternatives such as electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel, and CNG.The experience not only broadened their knowledge but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards protecting the environment.
