English Declamation Competition

Gitanjali Devashray has always espoused holistic learning, along with inculcating values, morals and ethics among the students. Not only are the students equipped with 21st century life skills through a plethora of activities, but also infused with the rich legacy of our motherland, India. In tandem with this ideology, the institution held an English Declamation Competition for the students of classes VII and VIII, as an Inter House Competition to commemorate the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Adjudged by Co-ordinator of Grades 1-3, Mrs Prabjoth Bahl, the competition saw the participation of students with a lot of practice, passion and enthusiasm. All the students displayed exemplary oratorical prowess, heightened by costumes, emulating Rani Velu Nachiyar, Savitribai Phule, late Prime Minister and the Iron lady of India, Mrs Indira Gandhi, Mangal Pandey, Madanlal Dhingra, Parvati Giri and last but not the least, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The declamations of the rousing and fiery speeches of these personalities, garnered a lot of appreciation from the Judge and audience alike.
