“A farewell is necessary before we can meet again, and meeting again, after moments or a lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.” 

At Gitanjali Devashray, the students of Class 6 took upon the onus of organizing a special assembly for their seniors with the help of their teachers. It was for the 10thgraders who would soon be bidding goodbye to their alma mater. 

After an auspicious and festive beginning with a spirited prayer rendered with a classical dance, there were meaningful poems recited. 

It is said that the only constant in life is ‘Change’. The students of Grade 6 shared some quotations for their seniors to take to heart as they step out into the competitive world. The time for farewell is also a time for new beginnings. The juniors sang a poignant song to express their warm sentiments.

The students of Grade 10 were also given scrolls and mementos to commemorate this occasion. The event was graced by the Mrs Madhvi Chandra, Director, Gitanjali Devashray along with the leaders of the school who played an active role in the proceedings. 

With this solemn endeavor, the students from grade 6  gave a heartfelt and memorable send off to their seniors who have been their role models, friends and guides at school.
