Gitanjali Vedika enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with the students of Grades 5 and 6 in association with Sphoorthi Kutumbam Trust (Telangana), under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing”.
Students participated in an engaging session on Asanas, Pranayama, and Dhyana (Meditation), learning the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, concentration, and inner peace through yoga.
Adding to the significance of the event, parents of Grades 1 to 4 actively volunteered and joined the students in practicing yoga asanas, guiding and encouraging them throughout the session. Their involvement made the celebration more interactive and meaningful.
The programme encouraged students to develop healthy lifestyle habits, mindfulness, self-discipline, and emotional well-being. The session served as a valuable learning experience, inspiring them to incorporate yoga into their daily routine and embrace a healthier, more balanced way of life.
