On 23rd January 2026, the students of Grade 5 presented a thoughtfully curated Republic Day Special Assembly, paying tribute to the spirit of the Indian Constitution and celebrating the core values of freedom, unity, equality, and democracy. The assembly commenced with a solemn and graceful opening, setting a patriotic tone for the occasion. This was followed by the Saraswati Vandana, invoking divine blessings for wisdom and enlightenment.
A melodious patriotic song was presented next, stirring deep feelings of love, respect, and devotion towards the nation. One of the most poignant moments of the assembly was a powerful skit on the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy, which vividly portrayed the sacrifices and bravery of freedom fighters, leaving the audience deeply moved and reflective.
The programme continued with an engaging role play on the Indian Constitution, highlighting fundamental rights, duties, and the significance of equality in a democratic society. The assembly concluded with a vibrant patriotic dance, celebrating India’s unity in diversity and leaving the audience inspired with a strong sense of national pride.
