Being Self-Aware

An empowering awareness session conducted by the She Team, led by Ms. Lakshmi, took place at Gitanjali Vedika, It was a highly informative and engaging experience.

The session began with Ms. Lakshmi delivering a passionate introduction that immediately captured our attention. She emphasized the importance of personal safety, setting the tone for the rest of the session. The team members who followed provided practical guidance on various aspects of personal safety, such as recognizing good touch and bad touch, understanding stranger danger, and responsible social media usage.

During the session, we were informed about the contact number of  the She Team for assistance in case of any problems. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of dialing 100 in case of emergencies. These measures demonstrated the She Team's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals.

One of the important lessons shared during the session was regarding interactions with strangers. We must not trust anyone who offers us a ride or claims to take us home, especially if they are unfamiliar to us.The team also educated us about the potential risks of social media and emphasized the need to maintain privacy online.
