Academics, festive celebrations and field trips all marked the calendar of September with lots of activities for the Preprimary. For Janmashtami, the children looked adorable, dressed as cute Krishnas and Radhas. The teachers put up a skit for them, enacting the story of the friendship of Krishna and Sudama. The story of Ganesha was narrated to the class and cute Ganesha craft takeaways were done in class. The children of Nursery went on a field trip to a Supermarket. The tiny tots were thrilled, as each child got an opportunity to get their biscuit packet billed at the cash counter. PP1 and PP2 students went to an organic farm. They were excited to see the vegetable crops and the flower beds. Watching the helper plough the farm with the tractor, feeling the textures of the trunks and different leaves, pulling out weeds and watering the plants was a very enriching experience for the little ones. The month culminated with the group singing competition.
