Teaching Tomorrow, Today – A Transformative Workshop

Gitanjali Vedika School had the distinct honour of hosting a transformative workshop on progressive teaching methodologies on 10th June 2025, led by none other than Mr. Premchand Palety, the renowned Founder and CEO of C-FORE-one of India’s leading research and consulting organizations in the field of education. With an illustrious career built on data-driven insights and pedagogical innovation, Mr. Palety brought a refreshing perspective to the art and science of teaching. The session was graced by the presence of the school’s visionary Director, Mrs. Madhavi Chandra, and the dynamic Principal, Mrs. Sonia Nagpal, both of whom are deeply committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among the faculty.

The workshop was thoughtfully curated to equip educators with a repertoire of modern, research-backed strategies to enhance classroom instruction and meet the diverse learning needs of 21st-century students. Mr. Palety began by sharing powerful insights drawn from years of educational research, highlighting the urgent need to shift from rote-based teaching models to student-centric, inquiry-driven frameworks. Teachers were introduced to a variety of methodologies, such as differentiated instruction to cater to varied learning styles and abilities; active learning strategies that promote engagement and participation; formative assessments for ongoing feedback; and project-based learning to cultivate real-world problem-solving skills. The emphasis throughout the session was on making learning meaningful, relevant, and deeply connected to students’ everyday experiences.

What set the workshop apart was its highly interactive format. Teachers actively participated in collaborative activities, group discussions, and reflective exercises that allowed them to experience the suggested methodologies firsthand. Rather than simply presenting theories, Mr. Palety skillfully demonstrated how these strategies could be seamlessly integrated into day-to-day teaching practices across subjects and grade levels. His approach bridged the gap between research and real-world classroom dynamics, making the content both inspiring and immediately applicable.

In addressing the unique needs of today’s learners who are digital natives, highly perceptive, and inclined towards collaboration Mr. Palety underscored the importance of creating adaptive learning environments that are flexible, inclusive, and stimulating. He encouraged teachers to reimagine their roles not merely as transmitters of knowledge, but as facilitators of curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. The workshop provided educators with both the vision and the practical tools to transform their classrooms into hubs of innovation and joy.

The presence and active participation of Director Mrs. Madhavi Chandra and Principal Mrs. Sonia Nagpal added immense value to the occasion, reflecting the school’s deep commitment to nurturing excellence in teaching. Their encouraging words, insightful reflections, and visible enthusiasm inspired the faculty and reinforced the school’s mission to stay at the forefront of educational innovation.

In essence, the workshop was not merely a training session it was a powerful professional awakening. Teachers walked away with a renewed sense of purpose, empowered to implement transformative practices that align with the evolving landscape of education. Gitanjali Vedika School once again demonstrated its dedication to holistic development not only for its students but also for the educators who shape their futures.
