  • THE ADMISSION PROCESS

    Enquiry forms Will be online. Duly fill up enquiry forms online with effect from 1st November 2022 and attach marks card from the previous school (for Grade I and above only).

    Gitanjali Vedika School registration will start on November 1st 2022.  Further processing for all classes will be notified with a phone call.  Admission will be closed as and when the vacant Seats are filled. Applicants are subject to a competitive entrance test. There will be interaction with parents and the child for NURSERY, PP1 and PP2.

    Our aim is to keep trying to improve our provision for all children.   We have the privilege of educating and caring for and we are exceptionally lucky to have the wonderful support team.

  • AGE OF ADMISSION

    The Nursery course is meant for children 2 years and 6 months to 3 years and 6 months old. A corresponding scale of age is fixed as 3 years and 6 months to 4 years and 6 months old. 4 years and 6 months to 5 years and 6 months old and 5 years and 6 months to 6 years and 6 months old as on 1st June of the year for the subsequent classes PP1, PP2 and Class 1. An attested Xerox copy of the Birth Certificate of the child submitted with the admission form duly filled in and signed by the parent.

  • ADMISSION TO CLASS 1

    The date of Birth must be confirmed by the proper certificate and should accompany the application for admission.

  • ADMISSION TO SENIOR CLASSES

    Childrens coming from recognised schools must produce their transfer certificate countersigned by the educational authorities of the place where the school is situated. Application forms without proper T.C. will not be entertained. Every child must be introduced in person by a parent/ guardian responsible, to the principal.

  • PLACEMENT TEST

    PLACEMENT TEST FOR NURSERY
    The child is asked to assemble puzzles to assess hand and motor co-ordination, and identify animals, colors, shapes etc. The child is assessed on clarity of speech, behavior and ability to follow instructions.
    PLACEMENT TEST FOR PP1
    The child will be given some puzzles to make the child feel comfortable. Then, question will be asked in order to assess the child’s ability to recognize letters, similar/ different objects, shapes, the child’s numerical ability and ability to comprehend and follow instructions. If the child is joining at the beginning of the academic year, his/her motor skills are tested to see if he/she is ready to begin writing for PP1.
    PLACEMENT TEST FOR PP2
    Recognition and writing skills are assessed. The child is asked to write letters (both upper and lower cases) and asked to read the letters phonetically. Numerical ability is tested by exercises in basic counting and writing of numbers. Logical reasoning is tested by asking the child to match pictures.
    PLACEMENT TEST FOR GRADE I TO IX
    Grade-appropriate concepts in English, Mathematics & EVS / Science are tested.
    On completion of the placement tests, a personal interactive session with the parents and the Admission Committee is organized to facilitate further in-depth understanding about the education philosophy of the school, and parental needs and expectation from the school.
    a. Gitanjali Vedika shall offer admissions to the following classes:
    . Nursery
    . Lower Kindergarten (PP1)
    . Upper Kindergarten (PP2)
    . Class I to Class IX ICSE
    b. Admission to the school is open to everyone, with no distinction of caste, religion or state.
    Preference will be given to the siblings of the children already studying in this school.
    Schedule for the interaction and/or written test will be intimated to parents through email or phone. Only selected candidates will be called for further admission process. Admissions will be given on first cum first basis.
    Purchase of admission form does not guarantee of the admission.

  • SUBMISSION OF ADMISSION FORM

    Parents to submit the completed admission form along with the mentioned documents:
    • Copy of birth certificate
    • Two passport size photographs
    • Copy of address proof
    • Copy of transfer certificate- TC should be compulsorily submitted for admission to class I upwards.
    • Copy of report card of the lower class in which the student studied last.

  • SCHOOL TOURS

    Families and parents are welcome to make an appointment for a tour of our School. Alternatively, Tours with the Principal occur regularly with prior appointment.

  • POST PLACEMENT TEST

    The Admissions Staff mark the answer sheet after the student has finished the placement test, after which they inform parents of the results. Parents are then advised on which class the child is best suited for.
